Missionary life is not for the faint of heart. Our kind missionary hosts, Tom and Jen Behman, have a heart to host missions trips. Not because it’s super easy or even convenient but because they want to share their love of missions with the next generation. They desire for us to serve alongside them and get a tase of real missionary life. The fun, the encouraging and the difficult.
We started the day with the fun. The town they live in is known for some of the best scuba diving and snorkeling in world. We took a short morning snorke adventure and, boy, it did not disappoint.
For lunch we experienced an authentic, Philippines meal. All eaten with our hands and standing up!
The afternoon was spent in their town’s basketball court starting our 3-day clinic/tournament and medical clinic. Not knowing we were already coming, the local town councilor asked the Behman’s if they could put on a basketball clinic for the community about a week before we arrived! Only God can orchestrate such events! is will allow us to share the gospel with many people. Thank you to everyone for your prayers! They are very much appreciated!
